Team Sports at Mid Devon Leisure
Mid Devon Leisure offers a variety of indoor and outside facilities for teams, clubs or social groups to hire for their chosen sports. Whether the use is for recreation and fun, training or competitive league fixtures, we have the facility and changing areas that will meet your needs. Facilities can be hired for one-off events, or over a longer period for a series of lets*, and specialist sessions can also be facilitated with our staff to lead and instruct.
Facilities and activities can also be arranged to host corporate sessions and team-building events* such as radio controlled car racing, dog shows and archery competitions. Contact reception to discuss your needs.

What we offer
5 a side football
Small team football, played in the main hall. Booking time per 55 minutes. Available at Culm Valley and Lords Meadow.
6 a side / 7 a side football
Small team football, played on the artificial turf pitch. Booking time per 55 minutes. Pitches are available at all centres.
11 a side football
Full pitch hire. Pitches booked per 55 minutes. Additional time for matches may be available, please ask at time of booking. Pitches available at Culm Valley and Exe Valley.
Hockey
Full pitch hire available for 90 minute matches or alternatively pitches may be hired per hour for training. Pitches available at Culm Valley and Exe Valley.
Netball
Booking time per 55 minutes. Additional time may be available for matches, please ask at time of booking. Available at Lords Meadow only.
Booking notes
Lighting available for later games on our outdoor courts. Additional charges apply.
All football players MUST wear shin pads. You will need to provide your own referee if required. Non marking soles are required for indoor games.
No studs or blades to be worn on the artificial turf pitch.
Our halls and pitches are available as a series of lets (minimum of 10 week hire). For further information and availability bookings@middevon.gov.uk

Racquet Sports
Mid Devon Leisure has a range of racquet courts for members and pay & play visitors to access. Courts are available from early morning to late evening* with floodlighting being available for the outside courts to ensure maximum availability during the winter months. Racquets are available for purchase or hire, and balls, shuttlecocks, and grips are available to buy from reception.

What we offer
Badminton
A family game for up to 4 players per court. Booking time 55 minutes. Available at Culm Valley and Lords Meadow.
Squash
A fast court game generally for 2 players. Squash may also be played as doubles (goggles must be worn if playing doubles). Booking time 45 minutes. Under 18’s are required to wear goggles when playing. Available at Culm Valley and Lords Meadow.
Racquet Ball
A game similar to squash, the ball is already bouncy so does not require ‘warming up,’ Played with bigger racquets than squash it is an ideal game for beginners. Racquet ball is played on a squash court, booking time 45 minutes. Available at Culm Valley and Lords Meadow.
Table Tennis
A traditional game using paddles, the table is set up for you in a squash court or dance studio. Available during the daytime only or at weekends. Booking time 45 minutes. Available at all centres.
Tennis
A popular game for all. Up to 4 players per court. Booking time 55 minutes. Flood lighting available at additional cost applies for evening bookings. Available at Lords Meadow and Exe Valley.
