Facemask on a blue background

How we are operating after the recent government announcement.

Face Masks & Coverings

Following the latest government announcement, it is no longer a legal requirement to wear a facemask from Monday 19th July. However, in order to protect the service customers will still be required to wear face coverings when attending our indoor public areas.

Social Distancing

Mid Devon Leisure will adhere to government guidance and will look to increase capacity in our gyms, swimming lessons and classes from Monday 19th July on a gradual basis. We look forward to slowly and safely welcoming more customers back into our leisure centres. We plan to increase capacity and will monitor and review numbers going forwards subject to government guidance

You may notice some social distancing posters and floor markers will be changed from Monday 19th July. The markings in the fitness and class studios will remain in order to ensure our customers feel safe when attending our facilities.

Our one way systems are being adapted although we will be keeping the various exit doors open to minimise the footfall going through reception, you will no longer have to queue outside. Hand sanitation stations will still remain in our facilities for our customers and staff to use in addition to wipe stations for our customers to sanitise following use. Please continue to respect our staff and fellow customers by allowing personal space.
